Hi, I’m Heidi VanderBloomer, a Holistic Health Coach passionate about supporting young professionals who are navigating chronic stress-related health challenges.

A bit about my journey: Since childhood, I’ve been captivated by the world of health and wellness. I set my sights on becoming a Physical Therapist in third grade; I attended Marquette University, and have now been a Certified Personal Trainer for 9 years, and a Doctor of Physical Therapy for 6 years. My path into health coaching emerged unexpectedly, and began once I hit rock-bottom…

A year ago, I found myself caught in a cycle of chronic stress. I was burnt out, anxious, and overwhelmed; battling adrenal fatigue, gut issues, hormone imbalances, migraines, food sensitivities, chronic pain, and acne. Despite countless doctor visits, my symptoms persisted, leaving me desperate for a deeper solution. That’s when I discovered the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN). Inspired by the thought leaders I admired in the wellness space—many of whom were part of the IIN curriculum—I decided to enroll in their year-long Integrative Nutrition Health Coaching program to learn how to heal my own body and mind.

Over the last 12 months, as a result of the nutrition, fitness, and mindset changes I’ve implemented, I’ve shifted from being at the lowest point in my life to reaching the happiest and most fulfilled version of myself. My spirit has been lifted, my symptoms are improving, and my body is healing. I am grateful for this extremely challenging experience, because it has taught me invaluable lessons and fueled tremendous personal growth. Now, I’m hoping to share my story and help others find their own version of happiness and healing.

I have a holistic view on health and wellness. I believe that our physical bodies exist in a harmonic, energetic balance with our mind, spirit, and environment, and that when we lose this balance, physical symptoms arise. My health coaching specialty is revitalizing one’s health after experiencing chronic stress. I aim to provide my clients every possible tool to optimize their exercise, nutrition, and mindfulness habits in order to restore their mental and physical health- two aspects of our overall well being that I see as being intrinsically linked.
